Charged Creeper
With a few simple steps, you can change any creeper into a charged creeper yourself. Let's explore how to do this in the game.
Required Materials
In Minecraft, these are the required materials to turn a creeper into a charged creeper:
Steps to Turn a Creeper into a Charged Creeper
1. Find a Creeper
First, you need to find a creeper and build a fence around him so that the creeper can't run away. In this example, we've placed the creeper inside of a nether brick fence so that the fence doesn't burn when the lightning strikes. Other fence types (ie: wooden fences) are flamable and may burn away from fire caused by the lightning.
Here are some of the materials you can use to build a fence:
2. Strike the Creeper with Lightning
Next, you need to strike the creeper with lightning. If you are running Minecraft PC, you can easily create a lightning bolt with a game command.
So stand next to the creeper. Then summon a lightning bolt by typing the following game command:
TIP: When you summon the lightning bolt, it will strike close to you and cause you damage in Survival mode. If you don't want to get hurt, switch to Creative mode and then summon the lightning bolt.
To enter a command in Minecraft, open the chat window and then type the command. As you are typing, you will see the command appear in the lower left corner of the game window.
3. Creeper will Transform into Charged Creeper
Once the cheat has been entered, you will hear the sound of thunder and see a flash of light. The lightning bolt will strike near the creeper and turn the creeper into a charged creeper.
You will see the message 'Object successfully summoned' appear in the lower left corner of the game window to indicate that the lightning bolt has been summoned.

WARNING: When the lightning bolt strikes, it may start a fire. Keep your valuables safe so that they don't catch on fire!
4. Put out the Fire

Now we should warn you that the lightning bolt will set the charged creeper on fire and eventually kill it. So you will need to put out the flames that are burning the charged creeper. The easiest way to do this is to throw a bucket of water at the charged creeper.
To do this, select a water bucket in your hot bar and then right-click on a block near the charged creeper. This will release the water from the bucket.
You should see the water spread out on the ground and then extinguish the flames that are burning the charged creeper. Now that the fire is out, the charged creeper will not die.
Congratulations, you just learned how to use lightning to turn a creeper into a charged creeper in Minecraft.

The Creeper was accidentally created when the model for a Pig had its body's height and length mistakenly flipped, resulting in a distinctive four-legged creature with a long torso and no arms. When it notices a player, the Creeper will move towards it and explode when close enough, creating a small crater; the explosions are one of the most damaging attacks in the game and can potentially kill the player; it also causes significant damage to any nearby structures, such as player-made housing. The Creeper can also explode when the player ignites the Creeper with flint and steel. When hit by lightning, the Creeper becomes charged and deals even more damage with a larger explosion radius, potentially killing the player even with full diamond armor. Killing a Creeper accrues 5 EXP orbs, and it may drop up to two pieces of gunpowder, as well as a random music disc if it is killed by a Skeleton or a Stray. While they usually creep up behind players (hence the name), they can be identified by the distinctive hissing sound they make right before they detonate. In Super Smash Bros.
